Abstract

The genus Barleria L. consists of 28 taxa including 26 species, one subspecies and one variety in India, is revised. Detailed descriptions for all the taxa and illustrations for 19 species have been provided along with keys for identification of subgeneric, specific and infraspecific taxa.
