Abstract

Scrutiny of type specimens revealed that,  Justicia atkinsonii T.Anderson var. pubescens P.Rai is found to be conspecific with typical J. atkinsonii T.Anderson. A lectotype has also been designated for the name  J. atkinsonii T. Anderson.
